that is BAD A**!!! i want an ak variant, but already bought tons of .223 rounds cause i plan on buying a mini-14 once i get my tax return $$$. but if they have an AK for $700 im buying it!! AKs are just so bad a** i dont care if its not accurate its duribility and simplicity is what makes it an amazing gun, just the sight of it, its so intimidating. i think its the best assualt rifle ever. i was born in the soviet union so i think its a must. thats a really nice set up how much money you put into this one?

Very Nice!

Always wondered how efficiently an AK can be suppressed. Is it quieter than a suppressed AR?

Regardless of how it performs. That is one nice set-up you got there.

Thank you, thank you and thank you :)

This particular Norinco is very accurate and the factory threads were concentric with the bore.
Performance of the can is excellent. I hope to have video available soon.

Thank You! I have always enjoyed your postings and consider your projects as cutting edge.

I'm thinkin you got bored with the M1a/ M14 projects that you are known to have perfected already. It is a good thing that you are now working on AK's.

It is more affodable than the M1A and more people can follow you lead.:)

I've been reading more about suppressors. I'd really like to get one when I have the money to fork over.

Thank you sir :)

The Vltor is all metal and rock solid.
The LMT SOPMOD butt stock seems natural.
I purchased the grip direct from Falcon

I made another change over the weekend by replacing the TangoDown VGF with a new AFG from Magpul.

It may look funny, but it feel natural and it does not stick out like a sore thumb.
Check it out if you have a full length lower rail on your AK.

I was wondering when you were going to join the rest of the cool kids :D
I have one on my Mini 14 and love it.
If i ever become wealthy and can afford the ultimak lower, the afg is going on the AK. Once again sir, i am envious.

Look for a pre-owned UltiMAK lower...

UPDATE:

I took into accout everyone's input on the location of the AFG and tinkered with it's is position on
the rifle this evening after I finished modifying another AFG so it would fit one of my MK14 SEI rifles.

This was an illuminating experience... I will post pictures soon.

I moved the AFG back just a bit giving my thumb perfect control of the weapon light.

H2O MAN,

As always, thanks for posting the pics, as well as giving us good eye-candy to drool over.

I love seeing your rifle "mods" as they match closely to my own personal tastes and style.

I'm totally diggin the MagPul AFG; I just ordered one for a "special project" AR-15 I'm building. It appears this new style of forward grip is gaining a lot of attention...and traction to boot. I can't want to try it out.

Again, I'm a big fan of your rigs!

Cheers, man!
