Mr. Matt Damon feels that religious "hockey moms" have no right to hold office in this country, aparently having faith in God and being a mom are an offensive joke and "scared" him.
Well, last time I checked our founding fathers and mothers believed in God, the bible, raised families and did quite well without mister Damon's input.
The level of hypocricy Damon shows about Palin's lack of experience ONLY being the governer of a major state and the vice president vs. Obama's true lack of experience as a dime-a-dozen junior senator running for president is astounding!

I will NEVER pay money to see one of his movies ever again, I don't care how many "Bourn" sequals he does!

It always amazes me that celebrities think that the general public CARES what their political views are.

I haven't cared much for the Bourne movies, anyway.
A man telling a woman what she can and can't do? What decade are we in? Sarah Palin has probably been involved in more activities that are typically associated with men that Matt Damon has.

Okay, I give up, who is Matt Damon? And why should I care what he thinks or says?

:wacko:Damon has been hanging out with george clooney too much and the influence is showing.I don't think that I will bother with watching any more of his movies.<_<

Damon is a lost cause like Clooney is. They both sit around in their San Francisco flat drinking flavored cappuccino. Two of the biggest fems (remember he-man Rock Hudson) that I've ever seen. Neither of them have a clue how 99.999% of real Americans live.
Damon in the Bourne Identity acts like he is the greatest weapons expert in world history. Reality: I bet he has never even shot a pellet gun in real life.

Fixed it for ya
Matt Damon is and a VERY POOR ACTOR!
Jeff
He's not that bad an actor. Its just that, like many actors, he has yet to master emulating real life. I thought he was great as a supporting actor in Saving Private Ryan.
And don't forget, Tom Selleck acts and Charlton Heston acted. They don't all turn out crazy.

Boy, the good ol' days when we had patriotic MEN making good movies and shows, what ever happened to the Waynes and Hestons in hollyweird?
Every actor nowadays is a slimey anti-God, anti-family, anti-American leftist lib!
Thank God we still have Tom Selleck with us.

What's so depressing is that he seems intelligent generally, but didn't have the common sense to look up the absurd rumors he quoted in that disgraceful interview. Far-left people are just blinded with hatred for the average American with traditional values, and refuse to even verify their claims.
I won't ever pay a dime to see his movies again.
Yep, the day we started caring about or putting stock in what our court jesters say was the day the decline of civilization started.

I guess the reason that I don't know who this Damon guy is, is because I would guess that I see maybe one movie every three or four years, and I am very picky about what I spend my money on.
Having said that, I have a recommendation for an absolutely entertaining movie, no thinking required: Of course, you have to have been an ABBA fan to fully appreciate the movie, otherwise it won't make any sense at all. The movie is "Mamma Mia!!" I think you will enjoy it. There isn't one single wild car chase, no stupid shoot-outs, not one over done explosion, no T&A, and only one time do you hear the "F"word and it is quick and almost not audible. But the flick is really funny, as I said, especially if you are an old ABBA fan.

I probably wouldn't like it, then; I like bad language, T&A, explosions and the like in my movies.
Zombies never hurt, either.
I like ABBA in limited exposures. That much smiling exuberance bugs me sometimes. (I do have the Gold CD)
Often I wait until a film hits TV (I'm on cable), which isn't that long these days. Certain ones beg a big screen though, and my favorite theater here has gone digital-projection. I love staring up from the 5th row...

Damon joins a long list of celebrities who make smarmy little comments like that about Republican politicians. Typical of them to mock some woman who lives a clean life and does what's right.
I suppose it's clean compared to Pamela Anderson's comments on Palin
"I can't stand her. She can suck it. Quote me."
Their egos are writing checks their intellect can't cash...
Someone should nail Damon sometime after one of those smarmy zingers thus: Is it true you dropped out of Harvard?

Unfortunately, I must add him to my list of Hollywood-types whom I can not, in good conscience, support with my hard-earned money. Sean Penn, George Clooney, Tim Roth, Susan Sarandon, Ben Affleck, Robin Williams... the list lengthens. I pine for the days when I simply enjoyed people's work without the burden of knowing that in real-life they're blithering idiots-- and anti-American.
Honestly, I've enjoyed his movies, especially Good Will Hunting and the Bourne trilogy, but I won't send my money to Hollywood to support these numbskulls. I'll pirate their movies and give 'em away! Ha.
Tim Roth? I never heard of him. IMDB lists him as a Brit tho, and I expect them to have these opinions. We kicked them good a few years ago and they're still rubbing their arse about it.

Sorry: Tim Robbins. BUT I like your tone.
Red Dawn:
Russian soldier: "This violates the Geneva Convention"
Jeb (Patrick Swayze, aiming pistol at invading soldier): "I NEVER HEARD OF IT."
Tim Roth is a fine actor, and has never spouted any anti-american nonsense, to my knowledge. He was amazingly good in Four Rooms, and in Pulp Fiction. I apologize for the mix-up.
There are, however, many schmucks from the former British Empire whom I loathe and distrust; number one now is the low-life host of MTV's award show: Russell Brand, who said our president is a "Retarded Cowboy Fella."
Dubya, warts and all, has done more to promote freedom and democracy on this planet than all the British subjects combined. I have my beef with George W., but I'll be damned if I'll let some little English punk belittle my nation, and its commander-in-chief.
