I'm a bit confused, I was under the impression a SMALLER hole in a gas port bushing would cause the rifle to cycle slower, but I read a post here somewhere, that the larger hole bushing cycled it slower.

Which is it?

Smaller one will make it cycle slower, less gas going thru dropping brass at your feet.

smaller gets you slower and a bit softer , and brass closer.

Well that's what I thought, but I'd read otherwise. Thanks

Most likely a misprint or someone misinformed.

Which is it?Somebody may have just mixed up their typing. I've seen several posts where someone got a set of gas bushings from one of the 2 or 3 aftermarket makers and ended up using the larger of those bushings. That's because of the ammo and particulars of their rifle. However, all of the bushings in those sets are typically a fair bit smaller than the factory bushing.
