Here's your chance to let the media know where the people stand on our
faith in God, as a nation. NBC is taking a poll on 'In God We Trust' to
stay on our American currency. Please send this to every American you
know so they can vote on this important subject. Please do it right
away, before NBC takes this off the web page. Poll is still open so you
can vote.

When I voted, it was over 69% in favor of keeping it as is.

76% now.
I wonder if the results will ever see daylight in the media?
I came across this poll posted on another gun site, and was rather surprised at the number of members arguing in favor of a "Yes" vote; for various reasons; but none the less it was still a "Yes" vote.
Maybe it just caught me off guard, for to me, "No" is the only acceptable response.
It's an MSNBC poll. Hardly anyone sees it now.

MSNBC? Are they still on the air?
Rachel Maddow will boost MSBNC's ratings.
Dan Abrams is smart but his show included too much trivia. MSNBC has the potential to completely beat Fox as a "serious" news channel, but they have yet to execute on that, and whether they ever will is an open question given the publics' appetite for junk food for the head.
Nevertheless, I do think there is a wide-open opportunity for the first cable "news" network that will actually do real news, all the time. CNN has some good in-depth reporting, but they take themselves far more seriously than their content warrants at times. Like the rest of the cable news channels, there's way too much pablum filler. It's like an adult's diet: habits don't break overnight, but over time, eating healthy is rewarded with better health, and healthier food starts to taste better than junk, and finally one wonders why they ever ate that stuff in the first place. Well, the reason why, is that it's what's for dinner on the cable (and network too, obviously) channels.
Regarding the online poll, those are meaningless, depending merely on who bothers to galvanize people to vote. They can be gamed easily. Still, I'll vote on one if it's something that I think really matters. When it comes to our currency, we'd better be trusting in God.
