Any one have experiance w/this type of scope. Looks like mount is permentnly attached to scope. I see lots of them for sale, but never seen one in use. I've attached a link that has an electonic version. Cheap that's for sure. Junk???

pass on that one and go to 'Barska tactical scopes'. I bought mine from OpticsPlanet and so far it does great. has the Mil-dots. 1.5X4.5 power. nice compact scope for my M30.

I like that one. I'm thinking it likely looks good on your rifle too. I checked it out over at MidWay also, seem to rated pretty good.
I need one but will probably have to wait until after my bank account recovers from the muzzle loader hunt. Thanks for info.

yes, that's the scope I have mounted on my M30. just the right size. I was concerned about whether it would handle the recoil but no problem. I have a Wollf spring installed. sometimes I yearn for higher magnification tho. but it does good for most all my shooting. the nearest similar scope (Burris) costs much more than my M30 did!

just my M30 which is of course 'ranch' style. I had to file on the Ruger rings to get the scope to line up - the clamping attachments, actually just the front one.
I have the Eagle flash hider which has the improved front sight 'HK' style so if I have to pull the scope I've got a good iron picture.
