US advises all Americans to leave Georgia
By MATTHEW LEE, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON - The State Department is recommending that all U.S. citizens to leave Georgia due to ongoing Russian bombing of civilian and military targets despite Russia's claim to have halted military operations there.
I-20, I-85 & I-75 were all backed up today as many Georgia Residents headed the advice of President Bush. Families, many of which have no place to go, packed what they could and began their journey into other states. At last count it is estimated over 4 million people have fled the state in search of shelter in neighboring states.
The latest news claims many of Georgia's residents have been riding around in their 4-wheel drive trucks waving shotguns and burning Russian flags. It is not known how many of Georgia's residents are aware that the Russian invasion is in fact on the Country of Georgia and not the American State.
In addition, looting has been a major concern across the state as many residents have targeted various Wal-marts and other retailers to stock up on survival gear. The most recent outrage was witnessed when small groups of rebellious Georgians over took the Duke Energy Plant in hopes of protecting it from Russian attack. The end result has left much of the state without power thus keeping them from turning on their TV's and Radio's to get the facts surrounding the actual Russian attacks.
More recently the State National Guard was activated to suppress the outraged uprising of Georgian forces only to meet them with resistance along with accusation of being Communist. Apparently the NEW U.S. Army Camo has really thrown them for a loop.
We will provide more when it becomes available.
