View Full Version : Obama gets more coverage again
Interesting isn't it:D Just looking at this forum and the majority of posts are about Obama. Why not instead of slamming one guy with many mythical imaginary inventions, why aren't people pushing the other candidates? After the complaints of unfair and excessive coverage of him, here at a primarily a conservative gun forum people are more concerned complaining about him rather than offering positive reasons to vote for someone else. Just a thought, IMHO we are screwed either way.

Ok Gossman, you want POSITIVE comments??
Then all freedom loving, gun owning, Constitutionalists should be beating the drum for RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT. It is that simple. He is the patriot's candidate.
He is : pro gun
pro Constitution
pro life
pro American
doesn't take a Federal pension(He states it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL). Holy crap-an honest politician, no can't be!!
BUT.......... Ron Paul is NOT backed by a George Soros or other like minded billionaires who really want the USA to become a Socialist state.

"According to a recently released poll by the Pew Research Center, when asked the question, "How much have you been hearing about Barack Obama?" 48 percent selected the response "too much." Even 34 percent of Democrats agreed they were hearing "too much." These numbers compare to just 26 percent of the general public who say they have heard too much about John McCain, while 38 percent say they have not heard enough about the Arizona Senator. Even 26 percent of Democrats say they have heard "too little" about McCain.
Pew's "Summary of Findings," which can be found here, observes: "By a margin of 76% to 11% respondents in Pew's weekly News Interest Index survey named Obama over McCain as the candidate they have heard the most about in recent days. But the same poll also shows that the Democratic candidate's media dominance may not be working in his favor."
As for McCain, the Pew summary observes: "In contrast, if anything, Pew's respondents said they want to hear more, not less about the Republican candidate. Just 26% in the poll said they had heard too much about McCain, while a larger number (38%) reported that they had heard too little about the putative Republican candidate."

This is actually good news for Obama. As recently as a few weeks ago many pundits claimed the public "still doesn't know who Obama is, and wants to know more about him." This is no longer an issue, and Obama timed his vacation perfectly it seems.

He is a better choice than the big two offer. IF all those who were unhappy with the two choices chose this one he could win. Too many buy into the best of two evils lie.

People may be tired of hearing about Obama, but that doesn't mean that they still know enough about him. There is a fairly new book about Obama titled, "Obama Nation" that is supposed to be very well foot-noted or documented. It might make for some interesting reading.
