Bossman, I dig the candy on the g builds, looks great. I had a milled Norinco like that one and guess what? Yep, wish I would have kept it. You don't see many around anymore. Nice work.

Alright guys how do I get the candy apple red furniture? I was at this Chinese restaurant today and all the wood was a red color similar to your furniture. I like it a lot and thought it would look great on an AK.
Also,
H20 Man your black ak with adjustable stock...is that stock specifically for AK's? I'm wanting something adjustable with a good cheek rest, yours seems to fit the bill nicely, where do I get one?
See the can of krylon x-metals paint on my hydraulic press up above? get yourself a can of that(at k-mart), spray the wood, let it dry overnight, buff with 0000 steel wool, spray it agin, let dry, buff with steel wool etc. etc. until you get the look your after.

thanks boss! I had wondered about the paint since the wood grain on the stock is still visible, I wasn't sure if thats what you used. I figured a metal spray paint would be pretty thick.

Bossman, I think you may have earned a new nickname. The Candy Man. Once again, love the candy. It makes those factory Romy stocks look like something special.

Has anyone else tried any different colors on those stocks yet? I just bought an Ak-74 with the nice looking not finished whatsoever wood stock on it and was curious. Its either getting painted or polished.

Here's a few of mine. Most of these are homebuilds, with the obvious exception of the MAK-90 and the gold WASR-10. I've got a few more kits to build, but haven't had the time to work on them.
