View Full Version : Just ordered a P95.
It's stainless, with two 15 round magazines. Any owners out there with comments/insights? Thanks.
I've owned 4 of them since they first came available and they all have been accurate, reliable and with a trigger that can be OK. It's does not have a target trigger, but it was not designed with that in mind. Every time I've sold one, I've picked up another one within 6 months.
My last one went to my youngest when he turned 21 who continues to shoot it often.

Good to hear, thanks Mike. The one I'm waiting on is equipped with manual safety and rail. I've been wanting a large caliber semi auto for some time.
My preference was the decocker over the manual safety, but that's just me. The P95s are a solid pistol that will give you years of service.
I still own a P97 that I'll be keeping for a while.

I'm only vaguely aware of the difference between the two safety systems, bought this online because the price was too good to pass up ($308 NIB).
Good deal, indeed.

I own 3 of them (2 older versions without rail and 1 new verison with rail) and use them as loaner guns for students. They work great. In my experience most folks issues with ruger handguns have come from cheap junk mags causing feed problems.
Can't wait to get out and break this piece in! I've had it for 2 weeks now without the time to spare.
