I got done reinstalling my accustrut the proper way last night and took it out today to check it out. I'm 64 years old and still haven't learned to read instructions before doing something. Here's the story: I didn't think that with the little recoil of the 223 round in the mini that the accustrut could move if the clamps were tightened down. WRONG!!!!!! I put the locktite that is supplied with each accustrut on as it should be but I don't think I cleaned all the parts well enough. Therefore the strut moved. Yesterday I wire brushed and soaked all the small parts in 99% alcohol and really wiped down the strut and barrel with a clean rag and alcohol. DON'T USE RUBBING ALCOHOL AS IT HAS OIL IN IT!!!!! Then I let it air dry. I put a liberal amount of the locktite 620 on all the contact points and let it dry over night. By the way the 620 is the only product that will work for this application.Guess what doing it the right way works 50 rounds and no visible movement. Shot 2 groups at 110 yards one 5 shot measured 1.196 and a 4 shot that measured .90. Accustruts ROCK!!!!!! I also have to give gundoc credit for the fine bedding job and trigger job he did for me plus the gas bushing and gas block torquing and gapping. Between the two of them I have an accurate, dependable mini that shoots like a house on fire. I'm a happy man.The load used for this was 60gr hornady sp 25gr 4895 and cci 400 primers. Im going to try some of the Hornady 65 gr hunting bullets to try for 1.0" but if it doesn't make it Im good enough. No yote I know of cares weather he's hit by a rifle that groups 1" or 1.25". My thanks again to accustrut and gundoc. Frank Johnson

Sounds like great results, congrats to you and sounds like Gundoc know what he's talking about.

What model is your mini?
