First - Thanks for your expert advice offered here - GREAT !

Second - I am waiting for your rush to slow down as I would like to send my Mini-14 trigger assy. to you for a "Job".

Third - I have a fairly new 2008 SS Ranch Model with the wood stock, fatter barrel and such. My question is - Will adding a muzzlebreak to this one help with the accuracy? If so, is a pinned-on muzzlebreak OK or does one need to be very securely attached (To prevent any vibration when fired.)?

Thanks, Phil

While a muzzlebrake won't produce the dramatic effects it does on the old style barrels it will still exhibit gains. Threaded on parts are always better than slipon parts because they do not create secondary resonations.

If the muzzlebreak feels a little loose in one direction, do you think that I would be better off either:
1. Removing it all together, or
2. Install it with some JB Weld as well as using the roll pin?

I know that theading it or welding it would be best, but . . .

I like to squeeze them in a vise a litle so that I have to drive it on with a rubber mallet for a tight fit.

Thanks. I'll try pulling it off, squeezing a little and replacing.
