hey doc, before i buy this ruger m77 mark 2 in 308 can a heavy barrel be put on one. i cant seem to find anyone who sells them... thanks

Heavy barrels can be installed providing we fins a barrel. Since most of the barrel companies produce several contours another barrel isn't a big issue, but the cost of fitting it can be. You will probably need to go with a custom stock as well to fit the barrel. I think the factory stock may get too thin depending upon the barrel diameter chosen.
