I've been looking at Walther p22's lately and dont know much about them. What are your guy's thoughts on them? I've been looking into another .22 lr plinking gun besides my 10/22.

Thanks Z28

Got the P22 for the better half as anything bigger is a problem for her. She loves it and has no problems with it. We did find that some Federal ammo doesn't work reliably, but my 10/22 will eat anything so no problem. The gun came with different front sights in case they needed changing, but ours was dead on from the start. She now goes shooting with me, although I get to clean them all. Taking them down is no problem, but putting it back together can be a little tricky. Of course, I am use to my 1911s.

Yeah thats what i've been reading is that they dont always like the bulk ammo. but thats no big deal i geuss .22 ammo is pretty cheap no matter what. Ive heard they usually like CCI 40 grain.

mine shoots any ammo that I put thru it. Just watch where the brass goes. It
sends some of it straight back at my face, and its hot.

I just picked up a P22 with the new grey frame, these are great little pistols and a bargain for the money.

make sure that you get a new one i have one of the first ones made it SUCKS! jams all the time wont extract the shells and half the time it wont strike the shell. But my buddy has a new one sweet gun! I even shipped mine in to have it fixed and it still SUCKS!! Costumer service was great though!
