Hello to all!

I just received my conceal/carry permit and I was curious as to what the best ways were to go about it. I currently own a Ruger P95 and this Uncle Mike's Sidekick Vertical Shoulder Holster. It gets the job done but won't work too well in the spring and summer time. I have heard of the inside the belt/pant line as a favorite of many, but would not know what type of holster would get that done. So what are some of you guy's or y'alls if you prefer favorites?

Check out Comp-Tac holsters. They have quite a few holsters to choose from. I have the minotaur MTAC for my HK P2000 and I really like it.

Never had any success with the inside the belt holsters. They tend to carry the weapon too high and unless your gun has a long barrel, the gun will sometimes roll over and out from inside the belt - not very cool, especially if the weapon falls out of the holster? I use a leather pouch (belly pouch) that is designed specifically for concealed carry and quick access. It's good for all types of weather, especially in the summer when the weather is really hot (like Richmond in August). If you want to make the pouch less conspicious just wear you shirt out and over the pouch.

Hmm..
I'll take a look at those belly pouches.
At the moment I'm taking a long look at the BianchiModel 6D– ATB Waistband.

for Spring, fall and winter , I use a Bianch Ranger w/ fingerlock strapped onto a nylon instructor's belt. I like the retention feature and one hand reholstering ability. It also cost less than 25 bucks.A sweatshirt or jacket often hides this set-up well. I placed additional velcro strips on the holster to make it hug the torso more as to reduce printing.

For summer, I use a galco IWB ( summer comfort) works well with just an untucked shirt.

IWB almost exclusively, but I carry full sized pistols so the 'tip out' has never been a concern for me. Occasional OWB carry in the same spot, but usually only for going to court and having a suit jacket on. Always on the strong side where my duty holster would be if I wear wearing my duty belt.

www.highnoonholsters.com (http://www.highnoonholsters.com) has always given me an excellent product for CC.

Whatever you decide, pick one and stick with it. When poo goes south, you're going to instinctively reach for it. It ought to be where you instinctively reach.

I always liked the Glock 17 tucked into the boxers look, then covered by an oversized sweatshirt.

Glock 22 in a Galco IWB rig. Taurus .38spl 2" in a Mitch Rosen IWB. Both these set ups are very comfortable.
In the fall and winter I sometimes use a Galco Fletch holster(strong side). It too is very comfortable but not very easy concealable in spring/ summer.
One tip I would give ya is to not be afraid to spend some extra cash and get a good quality rig. It WILL pay off in the long run.

S&W J frame in a Kramer pocket holster in either right front or left front pocket. Or SP101/J frame carried Mexican style.

Smaller guns like J frames will often find there way into a pocket. For something the size of a P95, you probably want a decent OWB holster and a strong belt. IWB seems and tolerance for it seems to vary greatly from person to person. Some folks just can't find it uncomfortable, while others love it. Vega - out of Italy - makes some decent holsters, they're about on par with Galco but usually sell for less. I don't know if they make ones for the P95, but it might be worth looking into.

If you move to IWB, you probably want something other than the Uncle Mike's clip ons commonly found at gun shops. They usually don't hold up very well. Galco, Vega and others offer relatively inexpensive suede style clip ons that might be a better choice. Depending on your body type, you might be able to hide one with just an untucked shirt.

Update: Thanks for all of the responses. I have made a decision and am satisfied with my choice. I bought the BianchiModel 6D– ATB Waistband. Wearing the full sized gun on the inside of your pants is not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. The hand grip of the gun nestles nicely into my lower back fat, that's what it's for, right?:D

Here is a pic of my current setup:
