View Full Version : Glock magazine question?
I've noticed on some Glock 26's and 27's, that the bottom of the magazine is not flat, but has a lip on the front of it for an added finger groove. Is this optional, and if so, where can I purchase it. I have a big hand, and the extra finger groove would be helpful.
Scherer Grip Extension
Fingertip Extensions replace the factory base plate and the internal locking floor plate just like the Extended Magazine Base Pads but do not add extra rounds.

I've put these on all my Glock 27 mags and it has helped my shooting grip a lot. I've found them for sale in every gunshop in my area. I've never tried the Pearce extensions that give you extra mag capacity for an additional round or two, but I do use the Glock +2 factory mag for the G27 that gives me 11rds in the mag plus one in the chamber. That mag also gives me a place for that pinkie to rest.
I don't know what the round count would be for the Glock 26 +2 mag, but it's worth considering.

Natchez was having a sale recently on the extended capacity factory magazines for the G26 and G27, if that helps any. They tend to be a bit harder to find than the regular capacity mags, and some people aren't even aware that they're out there.

That's mine with a Pearce extension. They look MUCH better than the Scherer.
