That is quite an impressive collection! I got a couple small guns, a SP101 and a NAA Mini Revolver. I think I will get the new Ruger LCP when they become available too.

The Sp101 you see here is 9MM parabellum. I couldn't resist.

That is what many people think. We can have more guns than people think. That is for sure. There is no limit to the amount you can own.

I have a P-11, P3AT, and a P32, I sold the P40 as it was a real handful! I recently got a Ruger LCP and I prefer it because it has a slide lock. at 330 bucks it is pretty affordable and sweet. I shoot it pretty well also.

I have the model 83 not the 82 I am looking for a model 100 to round out the herd. Salinas is sure different than I remember it. It was a sleepy town in the 70's and 80's.:(

IVA,
I like your avitar, thats a cool one.

I'm a big guy, and don't like lil' guns for only one reason, my hands are too big for them.
I remember looking at the Colt 1911 CCO and thinking, why the hell would you want to put a shorter officer's grip on a commander slide!?

I have an Officer's 1911 and only use it for carry purposes, hate the shorter grip,.....

I saw some old Colt and Browning .25 ACP autos at a gun show that looked like they came out of a cracker jack box, now those are some lil' guns, you could fit them in a coin purse!

Yeakh I am a big guy too that never stopped me from liking the little guns. I have a baby browning it is not as small as it looks once in your hands. I will say that the smaller guns get dirty to the point of not working faster than the bigger ones.

Top right for size comparison.

I guess another problem I have is that an unusually large number of compact guns, at least semi-autos are el-cheapos that aren't durable or dependable, I had another compact 45 acp (that will remain nameless) and it was so cheap and unreliable I got rid of it and got the Colt officer's which is a great gun by the way, other than being short in the grip dept, I've actualy thought of building a 1911 with officer's slide on a commander frame.

I just received an e-mail from Karl and George at Makarov.com. After 16 years they have stopped their on-line sales of parts. Many of you may have used them in the past, I have and was always happy with their products and service. I relay this message for your information and a request to anyone that may have the same services or link to a site like Makarov.com. PA831

That is a sweet looking gun. when was it made?

She was made in the mid 70's star and colt were going to have a joint venture that bottomed up and firearms international took then up . Ive read that colt had made some frames and star made all the internals. Shes a real joy to shot and she dont mis a lick. The 380 is pretty nasty round aspecally horndys 380 hollow point. I oridganlly bought her just because she looks like my 1911. It was one of those I got to have things you know. As you can se by the wear on the finishes all my guns are shooters.
