Gundoc. I have a project and need to bits of info from you.
What is the gas port size for a 14.5" 1/10 twist barrel?
What are the proper torque specs for the gas block?

Gas block torque is measured as "about" 36 inch pounds per bolt. As for the port, are you meaning the one in the barrel? I need to pull a barrel and see what they currently are. Thanks!

I have a 183 series mini-14 that short strokes.Will not extract after first round fired making it a single shot.Have changed the oprod spring with one from a functioning mini and did not solve the prob.Any ideas?

Clean the gas system, remove any recoil buffers in it for starters. If it cycles by hand, the gas system is fouled or faulty (gas port may be missing) or the bolt/op rod is binding. Try those and we can go from there.
