Last year my Boss bought the XD 40 the same time I bought my FNP 40, the FN is a better weapon in my opinion. We took them out shooting in the desert and we both agreed the FN has less felt recoil, is faster on follow up shots, and it comes with 3 magazines . This is not to say the XD isn't a good weapon, it is, the FN just feels better in the hand,just my opinion.
