I'm looking for a good touch up bluing for my Win. 94 Trapper. Years ago I did some heat bluing to revolvers and semi autos and have tried many cold blues over the years but have been out of the loop so to speak for awhile.
Is there anything on the market today that will hold up fairly well? Thanks for any info you may have on this subject, Mike

There are quite a few good blues on the market. Depending on the type of alloy used in the metal I generally reach for Brownell's 44/40 or Birchwood Casey's Black Magic.
