OK, folks, here's a secret double spy photo that shows a Mini-30 mounted with both the soon-so-be released CLAMP UPGRADE and the STAINLESS STRUT that is partway through manufacture. Let's just keep this between you and me. ;)

i like the look Kevin. it appears it should apply the torque/pressure more to the radius of the clamp than the original. good thinkin.

You don't see the pics at all or you don't see anything different?

Ok, I figured out the problem.

I have not been able to connect to photobucket.com for about a week.
So, you must have your photos on photobucket. Right?

Apparently my ISP is blocking photobucket for some reason.
Guess I'm going to have to contact them.

Note: I just used anonymouse.org to connect to PerfectUnion.com & your photos appear.

Great! Do you need the entire Accu-strut, or just the upgrade parts for the clamp?

I want the whole thing, but I checked the website, very nice, BTW, don't have that much avialable right now, will start socking some money away. It looks like it will help, AND makes my Mini look more like my old issued M-14.

The Accu-strut is still technically in Beta, and is available still at the intro price of $74.99. Those who wish to can upgrade to the final retail version by purchasing the clamp upgrade kit.

I don't as yet have final pricing information on the upgrade kit or the full strut.

Thanks, kkina, as soon as I can scrape some dough together, I will definately get with you! Finally have four working 20 round mags, time to move up in the world. :)

Thanks, guys! Just a heads up, the beta release will soon be ending. That means the final retail version will include the upgraded clamp, and the product will be repriced. It will be cheaper to get in on the last of the beta units, ordering the clamp upgrade at the same time.

This will be happening VERY soon.

Will the stainless strut have stainless clamps?

Will the stainless strut have stainless clamps?

Not initially. The SS version will be released with the same black clamps as the blued model. Eventually we plan on manufacuring stainless clamps to match Ruger's older finish scheme.

i have the clamp upgrade & it's a definite improvement in looks & function. an easy swap & slippage is a thing of the past. i did get a poi change that took 4 clicks to remedy. i highly recommend the investment. makes a great product even better.

Does the accu-strut come with the old clamps or the new version?

Well, I thought I explained a few posts up, but OK...

Currently the Accu-strut is in beta release. That means if you buy it today, you get the old clamp design, but at a significantly discounted price.

But, you can order the Clamp Upgrade at the same time, and essentially get the final retail version, and it will still all be cheaper than the final retail price. In fact, I will probably just package a retail version for anyone who does order a strut+upgrade before the beta ends (less confusing installation).

No need to apologize, perhaps I was a little unclear originally. It's all good.

As soon as the stainless clamps and stainless strut are a package you can put me down for two of them. Great Work...
