Well, I Finaly Did It.

I finaly ordered an Accu-Strut tonite. Been a little hesitant about adding more weight to my M30. I bought my mini because it was short, light & dependable.
I hunt the hills of western WS. Does anyone know if adding the Accu- Strut
negates the need for a muzzle break. I added a Smith muzzle break a few
years back, which helped. Just wondering if I could take that off now in the
interest of shaving off a few ounces and an 1'' in length. If this thing works
like everyone says ( and I have no doubt it will) I guess I won't care about a
few more ounces, but was just wondering if anyone tried it.

We worked very hard to minimize the weight of the Accu-strut without compromising strength. Honestly, I can hardly tell when its installed. As far as the muzzle brake, I also use a smith brake. On my mini, the brake adds a little bit more accuracy, but I could do without if need be. The best thing is to try your rifle with and without the brake and see if there's a significant enough difference.
