GunDoc,

When you stock bed a rifle are you just basically making a tight fitting mold for the barrel and action to sit in? Can you still remove the barrelled action from the stock for cleaning?

Thanks,

George

That's right, George. The rifle still disassembles for maintainence. Thanks!

GunDoc,

Thank's for the info. When I decide on what modification I want for my mini-14 I will give you a call.

Gun Doc,

I've got a Trigger Group on it's way to you now. I am offshore in the Gulf of Mexico at the moment and had a family member remove it and send out. I hope they figured it all out! haha

I've got a Tapco Fusion stock on the gun right now. Have you had any experience with this stock? Would you even suggest bedding on that stock? or if I decide to bed, should I use the original factory synthetic stock?

I'm looking forward to getting back home and trying out my new trigger job!! and thanks for any advice about the stock

- Kyle

Hi Kyle - I have your trigger group here, so they figure it out just fine. Any mini 14 stock will benefit from bedding, just in varying degrees. The TAPCO Fusion stock is one I haven't done much with, but I'm sure it can be done. Thanks!

Gun Doc,
My Target Mini has a Hogue stock, other than a trigger job what else do you recommend? I'm about ready to take you up on the super member discount offer but this is only my second post!

Definitely a trigger job and the stock could used to be bedded. I do bed the Hogue stock, just an extra charge. Gas port bushings would be a nice touch, too. Thanks!
