Hello folks. My stepfather bought a 9mm handgun from a long time friend. It's a Skky Industries model #CP-1. Does anyone know if these handguns are reliable and noteworthy? Any experience, please post. Thanks.:D

The owner of Skyy used to be a part owner of Kel-Tec. I have heard a lot of good reviews from different dealers about the Skyy pistols. They seem to be well built. I am considering getting one, I just don't know if I want the double stack or wait for the slim version to come out.

;)I have one and so far it seems 100% reliable, accuracy fair-out to 25yds,I shoot only std velocity 115gr fmj for reliability,it is a double stack model, and when you look at the keltec doublestack model in this platform they are almost identical on the outside.I even bought some spare magazines from skyy and they function flawlessly.Good buy for the money!:)

Yes they are basically a Kel-Tec but with a manual safety. That is one of the reasons that the owner of Skyy left Kel-Tec, he wanted the pistols to have a manual safety. Or so I have been told.

My stepfather loves the pistol, so does my mother. They're going to use the pistol for an upcoming CCW class. I'm going with them also. Going to use the PA-63. Thanks for the info guys, he wanted to know what kind of pistol he bought, cause he only paid 100 bucks for it. Nice deal and nice gun.:)
