I was loaned this sight by a buddy who wasn't happy with it on his AR. It is now mounted on a Power Custom rail on my GM sporter bbl. 10-22. I sighted it in and at rimfire ranges it seems good enough for minute of squirrel head accuracy (if you keep the dot turned down.) My question is are these the dots you don't have to be so careful to keep centered in the glass? I didn't have time to do anything today but sight it in, so haven't tried, if this type is more forgiving it may be the sight for my folder. Anyone tried this?

I put it on the folder and the poi went down 2 1/2 inches, and that was with no bbl band! When I got it readjusted the group was still very good, now I put the band on and am going to try again.

Putting the band on bounced the groups back up, but 8 clicks down put it right back, still the best groups I've ever managed with the folder. I think my buddy sold his sight, will try it cold (me and the gun) later to be sure. Wish it was the AA battery version but it is like new and he will take 300 for it and he did just hand it to me to play with.

Went out this PM and put 10 rounds into a target, 8 in the bull, 2 I jerked the trigger and were off to the right. My RR is on its way to Doc and when it gets back this may be the next gun to go. None of my 10-22s have great triggers but this one is the worst of the lot.
