This is what I carried in Iraq, minus the Jpoint and I had a Colt in Iraq (this is a Bushmaster). All parts were baught by me because of our awesome supply chain, though we were issued Acogs in country and that's where they stayed when we left. So I bought this one when I got back.:)

Hey gents,

I just couldn't get a decent sight picture with the Jpoint mounted on top of the ACOG so I decided to go another route. I really like it, it allows for better cheek to stock weld, better sight picture and its lower to the barrel. It is also surprisingly comfortable to shoulder by rotating the rifle about 45 degrees, and it is easy to transition back to the original firing position of looking through the ACOG. Okay now for the obligatory list of goodies I have piled on.

-Busmaster XM15-E2S w/14.5" barrel
-Vltor carbine modstock and rubber buttpad
-ACOG TA01NSN
-Jpoint 4 MOA red dot mounted on YHM dovetail mount and Jpoint winged mount from Cutting Edge Tactical
-Knight Arms rails and panels
-First Samco G27 rear pistol grip
-Tango Down vertical foregrip
-Harris 6"-9" swivel bi-pod
-Wolf hook single point sling
-Surefire A39607 flashlight and pressure pad

All but the Jpoint and accessories for it I bought before deployment to Mosul and kept for my baby. :)
