harmonic tuner?

Well Ive been checking out some mini stuff lately, and I like what I have been seeing. I don't have a mini yet, but Im looking at getting a mini 14 in the near futue. I have been on a few different sites about accurizing the mini, and Im just wondering if anyone here has tried the ARS barrel shroud, or Accuracy System's harmonic stabilizer. I am very curious to see if these things actually work, or are just a big waste of money. Is 10oz a great deal of weight difference to add to the rifle?

There is a lot of info here on accurising the pre-05 Mini. It seems the post -05 Mini's shoot a lot better without doing much to them, but every rifle can be improved such as a trigger job, stock bedding, and finding the ammo your Mini likes best.

There are several shroud/stabelizer/tunners members have made or bought. Most seem to improve accuracy, but so does hanging a muzzle brake or flash hider on the end of the barrel. Use the search feature for more info.
