Purple heart wood grips

I have a couple blocks of Purple heart, and I was wondering if anyone has ever made, or even seen pistol grips made out of it? I know it's very hard wood, but I think the color would be worth the effort. Any feedback? Pictures?

I used to do a medium amount of wood working, and I have to say.There's nothing better than a good lookin piece of purple heart. I love that stuff. That should look really good. I'd like to see some photos of it as you work.
