New Mini 14 sights

Can a set of the new peep sights offerd on the 580 rifles, be mounted on the older mini 14's ?
Also, can the winged front sight be changed out with the old ramp style.

The front sights are interchangeable with a little machining, but the rear sights require a lot of machining.

Hi Gundoc. What if you used the NEW style front sight with the OLD style ranch rear sight? Are the front sight heights the same or different?

They're close enough that they'll work fine.
