Nice M1A's, I just got a SOCOM II, I plan to get some pics tomorrow.

Close up shot of the Socom
EDIT. Started out as a NIB SocomII, built by SAI in Dec 8, 2005. I love the sights. for what they were designed to do. I dont have any plans to use optics with this rifle yet.

Another pic of my M1A bush rifle. This rifle was built by SAI on March30 1993 using USGI parts. Trigger group, op-rod, and bolt are TRW.

Another close up of my Norinco. This rifle will soon be re-built using the following parts
1- Criterion18.5 chromelined std contour barrel from LRB Arms
2- Smith Enterprises Vortex flash suppressor, and hooded gas lock front sight
3- ARMS18 old style scope mount
4- USGI Syn. stock
5- USGI gas cylinder- unitize
6- USGI op-rod (WIN)
7- USGI bolt (HRT)
8- USGI rear sight assembly
9- USGI trigger group (WIN)
10- All other parts, USGI
I havent decided on optics yet, but lookin hard at Leupold low to mid power scopes.

Nice OD Stock, I like that. I have a black synthetic and might paint it OD using vehicle OD paint.

Thanks for the kind words sir. A nice thing about a solid color such as OD green, is the ability to "touch it up", as one uses it. I also prefer the OD green contrast to the dark colored metal of the rifle itself.
