That's a question I don't really have an answer for. The condition of the barrel and what you want done to it will dictate whether it is a feasible goal and how much it will cost. Email me by my regular mail and we'll start working this out. Thanks!

but i saddly will have to rebarrel, alot of info was found, and it comes to the conclusion that a good shooting bbl, can be rechambered to improve, but its limited by the overall condition and COST is the only real constant, and its faster/cheaper/better to get a better bbl. so i ordered a green mountain sporter tapper today. so at least it will "look" stock.

Green Mountain makes a great barrel, you'll be happy with it.

and you sir are correct! this gm sporter taper heavy bbl out shoots me by a "long shot" it runs circles around my $2K "ultimate 10/22" bench rifle yet still looks stock and handles very well in the field with a cheap simons scope.
