Took the mini to the range today and here is how she performed. Those shots are all form 50 yards

i should add that the grid is 1" though after all the photo shopping to get it posted it might not look like it :)

The upper group is better. Is it the same ammo?

Anyway glad you got to shoot. It's been a long time since I've gotten to the range.

no the upper group is SS109 surplus 62grn and the bottom was with 55grn winchester white box .223, i should have made that more clear i just found it interesting how different the two ammo's shoot.

Some weapons do prefer the heavier ammo. Plus winchester white box isnt the most consistant stuff on the market either. Good shooting! Glad to see someone doing more than three shot groups.

is your mini 14 new or older barrel twist makes a big difference with the hevier grain ammo with bedding gas block muzzle brake im consistent with 79 grain projectiles at 500 yards i prefer my rem 700 at those distances but my mini would be my choice if the s hits the fan in the us
