I'm in Virginia, but not anywhere near Surry Co. I'm about an hour north of Richmond.

Well Howdy and welcome to the board!:D I'm no longer in Surry Co.:( had to move to Chesapeake(closer to work for wife and myself).I have a daughter going to school in D.C. so I get up that way sometimes.So what do you shoot and where.Give us some posts!J.R.

I shoot a lot of 12 gauge(skeet, small game hunting, ect...). I also have an M1A which shoot a fair amount, I just got an AR15, and I suspect I'll shoot that as much as my M1A. I

How 'bout you?

I'm green M1A:blink: ,I shoot SKS,Savage rifles(.270win and new varmit .204ruger) Vaquero .45colt with '92 puma same caliber,2 9mm's,2 1911a1's .45acp plus a few more.Where are you in Northern VA? j.r.

I'm not in Northern VA. I'm in Caroline County off of rt 301.

I've got an SKS as well-its probably the best rifle for the buck that I have!

Hello,

I live in Martinsburg, WV which is close to Winchester, VA (where I moved from recently). I shoot alot of black powder weapons (Civil War mostly), Cowboy Guns such as Colt SA and Henry's.

And recently for work I bought a Mini 14 which so far is alot of fun.

im from Maryland ( 5 minutes drive to Alexandria)but do a lot of shooting in Va. Used to go frequently to Shooters paradise before it closed for repairs. Also do tactical shooting near Warrenton.

Frequently shoot ARs, M1A, machineguns and suppressed firearms.

What kind of Tactical Shoots do they have going on near Warrenton? Dates? I gues that would be about 3hrs. up the road from me...

There is a military / DOD/ LE/ Tactical training facility in Warrenton operated by the Tactical Advantage Group. This facility is 1500 acres of God's country and is mostly used by Private Security/ DOD type operators.

Send me your e-mail and i'll inform you of any shoots. These are usually limited to 7 people and is organized by a buddy of mine who is an active SEAL TEAM operator.

Carbine/ pistol/ sniper classes are also offered to civilians arranged thru TAG.

Geez I seem to have an interconnect with everybody in this thread. I live in Chesapeake, and currently work in Annapolis MD.

Don't get to shoot any of my long-arms all that much (no plase to do it), but run enough ammo through my handguns @ Bob's indoor range in Norfolk.

Hey, is Bob's still open? Heard they had problems with BATF a few years ago. I used to shoot there after they opened up their new range back in the 90s. There was a place in VA Beach that had an outdoor 200 yd range when I used to live there.

I live in Nova now, shoot at Blue Ridge Arsenal, NRA range, and CF Phelps WMA.

there are a couple of out door ranger like c2 i think its got a 400 yard outdoor range but you have to be a member i use my familys 40 acers out halifax co. hunt shoot fish all the good stuff

I shot at C2 in December. Don't need to be a member to shoot there. REALLY nice range.

There is a shooting range in pungo that is outdoors it was a part of A & P shooting range but I hear it is now a private range.
I usually go shooting in moyock where I have access to a hundred or so acres

Is the NRA range really busy? Can you shoot .223 ?
