Recently you suggested using Loctite to secure my compensator, which kept shooting loose and affecting my accuracy. The blue loctite worked great, that's a good solution, but now I'm ready to pull my compensator again to clean it, and WOW is it stuck on there. I wrapped a thick cloth around it, then used a wrench to try and get the compensator loose, and it just won't budge. I don't have a vise or anything like that to use.
Can you give a newbie any tips for some homemade solvent or something to buy that would soften the loctite so I can get the compensator off? I tried some penetrating oil, but the Loctite seems to resist that pretty well (which is prob. a good thing normally, except when you want to get something off!).

Ok, I found a couple of tips online I'm going to try. One suggested heating it up with a hair dryer to break down the Loctite. I'll try that first. Another suggested applying a little more Loctite and allowing it to work about 10 minutes, for some reason that breaks the bond on the existing Loctite. If neither of these plus some serious elbow grease will work, then I'll get back to you and ask for more tips!
