ring and mount question

ok i need a little imput on this one. i am putting a 44mm objective BSA platnum on a Savage 10flp. I am planning on using the Leupold 2 piece nonweaver bases. now my question is this can i get away with the medium rings or am i going to have clearance issues that force the high ones. any help would be appreciated :D

Personally, using medium rings I can't see that you would have a problem. I think it may even work with low rings provided that the 44 mm dimension you gave on the objective is OD and not lens size.
