Excellent Whitetail Buck

I was blessed by the appearance of this excellent whitetail buck (4 x 4) at the close of two days "in the field" hunting. I had been on the move for a couple of hours and was about to give up. I came up on a ridge and a 70 yard shot from there into a river bottom dropped him. He was nearly impossible to haul outta there. Loved every minute of it!

I'm getting all pumped up our deer (gun)deer season starts in two days got the H&R Ultra Slugger out and shot her to make sure shes still zeroed. Live in Shotgun only zone. Hope I see one like that sweet buck lima-charlie!! :ar15:

Thanks for the kind words Guys. I do wish there had been a four-wheeler there that day. That deer did produce a great lot of delicious venison. I have already had the tenderloins and used 2lbs. of the chilli grind for a delicious chilli. I served all of it to the young kids I work with at my school for our "First Thanksgiving" dinnner. They had never had venision and they LOVED it. I still have half a freezer to go!
