Anyone ever dealt with Mitchell's Mausers? I'd like to get one, one that's in good condition and can be fired knowing it's safe to do so w/o worrying about parts falling off or it blowing up on me.

Anyways, looking for input, I understand they've been around for a while. Curious to hear how others experiences have been.

Thanks,

Frank

Incredible products that look for the most part like they were just packaged from the arsenal. I looked at a mint version at a local gun shop on Friday.
It was a collector grade K98 with all the accessories. What a beauty!! It really looked better in person than it does on their web site.

They make a "tanker" version now in several different calibers if you want to shoot 270, 30-06, 308, etc... instead of the harder to find 8mm.

Buy one, you won't regret it.

i have never fired one, but i saw one at a gun shop about a year ago. it looked perfect, made me want one so bad. didnt have the $400 the guy wanted for it. it came with all the acc. as stated and came in a white box with everything sealed in plastic. the wood looked awsome. it was essentially a brand new 50 or so year old gun. if i had the cash id buy one in a heartbeat.

Thanks guys, I'm looking to buy a couple or three rifles here in the next week or so. I did see that Tanker version, really nice, but I suspect that'll be around for a while I'd like to get the Mauser first.

I'm going after the Premium Grade one, which is on sale now for $599, normally $699. Looking forward to getting my hands on it, once I pay for it and go thru the FFL, etc.
