Homeland security needs disbanded. If their job is to defend the cointry that is what we have a dept of defense for. Obviously their job is to redistribute wealth and keep American Citizens under their thumbs.

Yep. Homeland Security has all to do with doling out Pork and little to do with Security. Combining 40 odd Beaucratic depts. into a single entity is destined to only result in an Organization that is ever more worthless than the parts. Jeez, with a little practice the Republicans could get to be even more worthless and extravagant then the Democrats.

Uh, I hate to be the one to break it to ya, but it's the Republicans who've been in control for the last six years...

And before anyone tries to blame it on the "War on Terror"...

So, the entire National Debt has been accrued over the last 6 years? now yoy're gonna tell me that Slick had either a balanced budget or a budget surplus[the story tends to vary]. Well, after hearing that for so long I finally decided to investigate-took me all of 5 minutes to disprove it.

That isn't pork, guys. Thats training and equipment money for Fire Departments to be able to handle HazMat and NBC (nuclear, biological, and chemical) incidents of a terrorist nature. That's money so that, hopefully, little departments with little budget money for such things normally, will have a fighting chance now that we know the whackos are fixated on such things.
I know what I'm talking about. I dispatched 5 Fire Departments, 6 Police Departments, and got a lot of the training for responding to such things, from 1977 to 2004 at the 9-1-1 center here. Those little Fire Departments used to have to call on a big Department an hour down the road when a big one happened, and that won't work anymore. Responders are the second set of victims otherwise. We were getting that sort of training, tho rudimentary, several years before 2001. But we're the biggest dispatch center in the state.

Then why didn't you post it?

The National Debt is a lot higher and a longer time getting that way than the "Budget Deficit". The stage was set for the deficit to shrink before Bill got into office. Then Bush43 went to playing with money that wasn't his or even there, and now we have a huge deficit again. At least a huge tax increase hasn't materialized yet.

The huge deficit is also dissapearing due to the tax cuts instituted by Bush. Of course letting people have more of their own money never spurs economic growth.

Now we just need to get the bastards in Washington to quit spending so much money. (Bwahahahahahahhahahahah! I kid, I kid!):(
