6.8 rem. SPC

I have a question????

I have been reading a lot about this new 6.8 SPC round from Remington.
I have also read literature that lists this chambering in T/C's new G2
carbine and handgun. Since the G2's frame will interchange with the
pre-2002 barrels and all barrels will fit either frame, I assume that a new
barrel chambered for the 6.8 rem. SPC will work on a pre-2002 (pre-G2)
frame? I know about ass u ming, but I would like to try this new round
without having to purchase a G2 frame. Anyone know about the back-
thrust and pressure of this round compared to the T/C frame????

I'm not sure about the pressure of the 6.8, but yes the barrels between the G2 and the first generation Contender are interchangeable. I also have heard allot of good things about that round as far as accuracy and stopping power on varmints and coyote sized game. . I have concidered it for myself.
