Ammo dump . . .

I was just watching Shooting USA.
They were showing scenes from the USPSA Handgun Nationals competition.
Right at the beginning, for one of the competitors, when he fired his first shot, the bottom of his mag broke off & dumped all the ammo out of the mag.
He quickly switched mags & continued.
They said they had never seen that happen before.

What can go wrong will go wrong at the least oportune moment!! Murphy is a really bi**h sometimes!

That's what happens when they keep dropping those mags on the deck,
when doing a reload. The mags base eventually weakens and gives with
the spring's pressure dumping all your ammo out.:rolleyes:
