I just got 300 rounds of 8MM for my FN-49 at SportsmansGuide. It is Romanian surplus and looks to be in good shape. Cost was $27. and change. It was in 15 round boxes on stripper clips 1950s manufacture. Now I just need range time.

Don't forget your recoil pad.

The FN-49 is gas operated and fairly easy on recoil, no worse then a Garand. But I won't shoot more then 100 rounds a session. It can get rough after that.:lol:
