While there is doubt concerning the legality of the Guantanamo detention of terror suspects and I am trusting in our 3 branch Government to work it all out. The article I found here is interesting concerning the history of Guantanamo and it use by other President's including Bush Senior and Clinton and how legal questions have played out.
I trust our courts will reign in the Executive Branch as it sees fit or Congress will do it - as that is the purpose of our three branch government - as it is the Executive Branch's job to check the other two - if any one of the three willingly and/or easily surrender any of their power then our form of government is less effective.
Anyway, I thought you all might find this interesting - I did.
