Say i put a gouge in the inside of my M1A standard barrel..what should i do?

How bad of a gouge are we talking here? Is it bad enough your reluctant to shoot it? If not can you tell any difference in accuracy? Do a Google search on "firelapping". Also check out Cabela's website (Tubb final finish bore conditioning system). This may be an option. Or just try and forget it's there.
