I just wanted to pass along my thanks to GunDoc, and let you all know what type of service to expect from him. I had a issue with the front sight on my GSR. It was loose, SIG offered to repair it, but I was looking at eight to ten weeks. I posted a few Q's about how to fix this myself, no major issue, but I received about varried opinions on how it should be fixed.
I contacted about accomplishing the repair and stated I was in a bit of a time crunch as I am going to be away from the house for a few weeks. GunDoc told me what needed to be done and I sent the slide his way.
GunDoc removed the front sight, peened the sightbase and reinstalled and pinned. No big deal right......? Here's the kicker, I received the slide back, from the day I sent it to him, in one week!
Quality work and service such as this is very hard to find these days.
