Pistol sights

I have a Star Firestar M40 .40S&W and am looking for firesight type sights for it. The back sight is a 3/8 dovetail and the front is a 1/4 dovetail. Any one have any ideas. I checked out both Williams and HIViz websights but didn't see any.

Gonna be tough to find those. the good news is that you have dovetails, so with a triangular file you can fit most any sight to the slide by taking a little of each dovetail. Go slow and check the fit often, remembering to leave one side a little wider than the other for a tight fit.

It's usually best (whenever possible) to file the sight's dovetail tenon rather than the gun's slots. If you screw up and take off too much, you haven't ruined the gun.

Yep, that's what I meant to say. I should have been more specific. take a little off each side of the sight's dovetail, leaving one side wider for a tight fit as it drifts into place.
