Rich, if you ever need any older type guards or stocks, I have a great source that has been trying to off load them for about 5 years now. They originally came off DOD guns given to LE agencies.

Here they are.
Man - I especially like the PRC-77. I have not seen one of those in a LONG time. Where did you find that ?

Acctually I have about 6 of them (2 are PRC-25s) All of them work and we use them in our Nam reinactments. I also have a ton of other Nam vintage commo gear. Check out my website, www.richardsjohnson.net (http://www.richardsjohnson.net)

Now that is the M16 I trained and lived with back in the day.

Sweet looking rifle. Ya know, I really miss the original AR-15. I fondled one up at a local shop about a year ago and was amazed at how light they are when compared to the current models. And that is even without all of the bells and whistles we commonly strap on them these days (I'm including myself in that last statement as I'm as guilty as anybody). The originals are just so basic and clean that there is a lot that can be said for them that way. AAhh for the old days...lol
