Ok, so I am probably pipedreaming again...

I found a picture of a Lynx model 94 Target rifle (in .308) and just about fell in love...

I have read that they are VERY accurate rifles, and with the straight pull bolt design, I think would be exceptionally nice... (Imagine K-31 swiss bolt design, here)

I dont know if any were ever imported into the USA, nor can I seem to find a price list on any of the foreign sites. One fo them I *THINK* showed a price at about $1200. Pricey.. but not Stupid pricey...

If anyone can help me find ANY info on these other than the few sites that come up when you google "lynx 94 target" I would be greatly appreciative!!

Info on any in the USA would be even better!

I feel like I am embarking on a most impossible quest!! But I really would like to pick up one of these fine rifles... we will see how fate twists me...

Thanks again!!!

Hi!

My apologies about my english!! :D

I was wandering around interned and tried to find articles about my own lynx 94 target and by accident found your question.

I Live in Finland and one of my hobbies are shooting and hunting. So last summer I wanted to have a accurate, special and quality rifle. This weapon is very popular and wanted in finland so i taught I´m gonna buy lynx before I buy an trg ;).

I bought my rifle from an old guy who was trying to get rid of it. I got it quite cheap like 50% off from the real price ;P and the weapon was quite new 60rounds shot. it costed 1200euros wich is roundabout 1675 dollars.

The prices are varying from 2050eur to 2500eur.. (2870usd to 3500usd) a bit salty but it is custom crafted. Prices depend what accessories u want. Lefthander costs littlebit more.

The barrels are Lothar Walthers and Stocks are custom made by Finnish Stockmaker Markku Tervonen.

I´ve been very satisfied in my own rifle the bolt is very comfortable to use, cheekrest is quite well adjustable and trigger is also adjustable, I have mounted an bushell elite 6500 4.5-30x50 with sako optilocks and it works fine with the rifle. And tomorrow I will go and testshoot my Lynx with new reloaded rounds.. And the caliber is .308T and the T means Tight chamber. It makes the barrell more accurate.

I hope I helped you somehow, ask me If you need something, I an not an specialist but I know something about this rifle ;)

I do appreciate the feedback! All you have done, is reinforced my belief that these are indeed EXTREMELY FINE quality rifles, and it just makes me want one all the more!!!

The real problem is finding a way to have one imported into the USA... Currently no one imports these rifles for sale in the USA, so they are impossible to get here.

I would have to set up some way to have it sold to an importer, then shipped to my FFL, etc..etc... it would probably cost double what the rifle is worth. :(

Please give a post about how it shot!!! I would love to know how accurate it is!

Thank you!!!!

have a great day!

Mike
