I wasn't for the War. Since we are in the mess, I believe that we need to finish the crap and I understand that more lives will be lost and it won't be over in a year. I am not a liberal nor do I consider myself a conservitive. I didn't vote for either Bush 1 or 2, and I didn't vote for Clinton or Kerry. Statewide, I vote across party lines, for whoever I believe is the best person. And I do not think that that picture is like the Nazi party but I do believe that there is no difference between democrates and republicans at the top. And yes I find it funny, just like I finds parodies of either party enjoyable. I do not believe it anymore than I believe the DaVinci Code, that the U.S. is "God's Country" and that the majority of politicians have my best intrest at heart. I hang a Flag on state holidays, I have an honerable discharge from the USMC, but I do not believe in nationalism but I am patriotic.

gossman, I think it's pathetic that anyone is trying to divide this country with such vicious and venemous propaganda. Many liberals wouldn't count me among them, once they find out all my beliefs, but I'm more at home there than with today's GOP, and more so among independent than either major party. I think of myself as a "classical" liberal, not the irrational sort one sees all too many of today. And by the way, I wouldn't blame the GOP for that propaganda at all; I hope and believe that most would repudiate it in an instant. What can you possibly find humorous about what amounts to the claim that half the country is treasonous?

It is emperitive that both the far left and the far right exist so that we can maintain balance. To remove either or deny their voice to be heard will be the death of our country. I feel that we are headed towards that at this time.

Im glad to hear you are not.Sadly many libs are. Those that are deranged enough to desire the destruction of the U.S. or deaths of our coubtrymen are either numerous enough or just loud enough that they appear to be a majority.
Surely you can understand the lack of care in seperating the different groups of lins.
