Mike, No, I think I will join NASR as it is more convenient. I have access to outdoor shooting and can always to to Delaware SP range. How have you been? Haven't seen you on THR in a while.

Fine, just need to start job hunting. Gave notice at JPMC on the 8th of Jan with my last day on the 31st. Been taking it easy since then and in no hurry to re-join the rat race. I could get used to this life. :D

Spend most my online time at the CZ Forum and on some of the 1911 forums lately, but still check out here, THR and TFL at least once a week. Just waiting on the weather to improve longterm so I can get a couple of days in at the ODNR Woodbury range.

Later,

Where is the woodbury range?

About 7 miles west of Coshocton on State Route 541.

Woodbury (http://www.dnr.ohio.gov/news/dec00/1218shooting.htm)

Covered shooting positions on the 4 rifle ranges: 25 yards, 50 yards, 100 yards and 200 yards. No crowds, either.

Sounds good. I am going to definitely try it out. Just started a new job myself. Job hunting is hard work.

Here's a view of the 200 yard range shot from the entrance overlooking the shotgun area. Just the right-end of the 100 yard range is visable behind the storage building. Note the berm separating the ranges.

Both wood and concrete benches under cover.

Looking down the 200 yard range from the shooting positions.

It's well worth the drive over there. The only downside is that it can get breezy at times. Also note the 12 noon opening time on Sunday's, not like the hours at Delaware ... where I never go anymore.

Dave, No longer job hunting. I'm currently working at Vance's in their Law Enforcement sales. Quite a change for me, but it's interesting to say the least. Drop a note if you get some time.
