My new rifle is arriving this week according to the dealer.

I have been waiting a month for it so now Im very eager to put my hands on it.

I went for the .22 and I will use it for close range hunting in the backyard.

By beeing safe to shoot upwards it will give me some more triggertime and it will also help me to get rid of all magpies and similar that I cant take down due to safety of people living close to me using the 10-22.

A nice rifle, just 28 inch long and 5.4 lbs.

Wow. Nice rifle. Also nice to find someone who really cares about his neighbors!

I love airgun hunting and airgun shooting in general. My tastes run more toward springers, but its all good.

I'd never seen a BSA "Ultra" before, and by golly, that's about the *coolest* airgun I've ever seen.

I'm not usually an airgun guy, but even I want one of those babies. They're not cheap, though: locally, they are going for $598 - scope not included.

When it arrives, Johnny Sweden, be sure to give us a test report! :)

I sure will do that, sir..

:)

I have imported mine straight from the UK and I will pay $550 with P&P.

Its about $150 up what I paid for my 10-22 RB ($399).

Since before I have already a PCP air rifle so I will use the same charging unit.

Scope will be a Leupold EFR 3-9x33 in Sportsmatch mounts.

One fill from the 50 cc tube will give about 20 shots within a 15 fps spread launching a 16 gn pellet at 700-710 fps for 18 ft/lbs.

Just about perfect for shooting pests in the garden..
