Hello all,

I just thought I would share a couple of pictures of my SKS family.

Two of the Simonovs in the pictures are new to me THIS week, and one is new to me back on the Tenth of June.

I am QUITE gun poor. (I also bought a Smith and Wesson Titanium .32 H&R Magnum revolver this week as well, but that is ANOTHER story).

This is what happens when the Wife leaves town on a camping trip for 4 days. I have absolutely NO supervision.

The Simonovs in the pictures are, from left to right

1. Yugoslavian 59/66. Still caked in that WONDERFUL Cosmoline.
(purchased the Tenth of June)

2. 1956 Soviet SKS. Refurbished. Very nice condition.

3. 1952 Soviet SKS. Original condition. Beautiful. All numbers match.
(purchased this week)

4. 1953 Soviet SKS. Beautiful. Original Unfired condition. All numbers
match. Second generation laminated stock.

5. Chinese NORINCO SKS-D. Excellent condition. (purchased this week)

6. Yugoslavian 59/66. With a picture of Jesus on the stock.

Good Shooting!

Hmmm... NWO, it seems as though I've seen those somewhere before... now where could that be?

The bigger the family the more it cost to feed them, lol
I did not realize yours is an old post, do you still have your guns and if so, how many now?

I still have 'the family' although it is a bit smaller now. I sold off a few of them to fund other things. I was running out of room in the safe too!

Which ones did you sell off, and are you going to do anything fancy with the survivors?

I actually have sold off most of them.
As for doing anything 'fancy', no. I do not believe in BUBBA.

Funny thing is that a similar thing happens to me when my girlfriend leaves town. She was away this weekend but I just got a new gun three weeks ago and didn't think I could afford another one so soon. Save, save, save. Maybe if she takes a vacation in 3 months...

Hold it, Wife and girlfriend? And guns in the house? It is hard enough to manage a wife and a gun hobby. A woman scorn and guns do not mix, lol Maybe start a potatoe chip collection that looks like famous people, that way when she catches you with a girlfriend, all she can do is squash your collection, lol
